Class Description
TEEN COLLECTIVE: 11-17 year olds Create an illusion with this optical photographic technique. Select two photographs from a range of themed images, and enjoy the seasonal fun with a playful soundtrack and sweety treats as you create your ‘spooky’ decoration. Take the magic home by presenting your lenticular artwork on a photo frame mount with stand, for all to enjoy the illusion! Soft drinks and aprons will be provided. 🖌️Skills Taught: Measuring, lenticular technique, composition, precision. 🖼️What will you take home: A quality lenticular decoration for display, that can be enjoyed as a keepsake or as a seasonal decoration. The lenticular technique can support G.C.S.E photography portfolio work and is a unique skill to acquire. ⭐Top Tips: Lenticular artwork requires focus and precision. Cutting boards, metal safety rulers and durable materials will be used in this ambitious and fun class. This class will also offer time for more expressive and engaging fun with a ‘break’ time activity involving creative ‘potion’ ink painting techniques. ℹ️Key Information: We provide all the materials you need - just bring your wonderful self! Complimentary refreshments are included to keep your creative energy flowing. Our sessions are led by an experienced artist and usually follow a relaxed, structured format - though we always love to see your unique creativity and self-expression shine. To help us get everything perfectly ready for you, please head in no earlier than 10 minutes before we begin. Parents can drop off their children for this session.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 10 days before: If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so up to 10 days prior to the start of the workshop. You will receive a refund minus the ticket service fee (this is non-refundable processing fee charged by Wix). Please email your request at hello@art-waves.co.uk Cancellations less than 10 days before: We are unable to offer refunds or transfers for customer cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the workshop. The only exception is if we have a waitlist and can successfully fill your space. If you cannot attend, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@art-waves.co.uk If we must cancel a workshop due to low enrolment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you via email or phone at least 48 hours before the event. In this scenario, you can choose one of the following options: • Transfer: Move your booking to a new workshop of your choice. If the new workshop costs more, you will pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund you the difference. • Credit: Receive a full credit voucher to use toward any future Art Waves event. • Full Refund: Receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid. Payment: All workshops booked must be paid upfront via the website.
