Class Description
WAVE MAKERS: 6-10 year olds Attention all Wave Makers! Create a seasonal decoration and learn a range of painting and three-dimensional craft techniques. Your child will observe multiple demonstrations and be guided through a series of activities to create their very own Halloween inspired mobile. Art pieces will be created with ink potions, wax resist, and 3-dimensional paper modelling craft. Plenty of sparkle, colour and fun to be enjoyed in this class. Soft drinks will be provided. 🖌️Skills taught: Ink painting, stencil cutting and painting, 3-D paper craft, drawing, embellishment. 🖼️What you will take home: A quality wooden mobile, made to last, adorned with your child’s seasonal decorations. Woven spiders web, stencilled spider, magic cauldron, playful pumpkins, sparkly moon and stars. ⭐Top Tips: This is a fun, multidisciplinary class with a range of skills and techniques to enjoy. Some materials used in the class may stain clothing, so please dress accordingly. Children will be given protective gloves and aprons to wear during the ink activities to reduce the risk of staining. ℹ️Key Information: We provide all the materials you need - just bring your wonderful self! Complimentary refreshments are included to keep your creative energy flowing. Our sessions are led by an experienced artist and usually follow a relaxed, structured format - though we always love to see your unique creativity and self-expression shine. To help us get everything perfectly ready for you, please head in no earlier than 10 minutes before we begin. Parents can drop off their children for this session.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 10 days before: If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so up to 10 days prior to the start of the workshop. You will receive a refund minus the ticket service fee (this is non-refundable processing fee charged by Wix). Please email your request at hello@art-waves.co.uk Cancellations less than 10 days before: We are unable to offer refunds or transfers for customer cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the workshop. The only exception is if we have a waitlist and can successfully fill your space. If you cannot attend, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@art-waves.co.uk If we must cancel a workshop due to low enrolment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you via email or phone at least 48 hours before the event. In this scenario, you can choose one of the following options: • Transfer: Move your booking to a new workshop of your choice. If the new workshop costs more, you will pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund you the difference. • Credit: Receive a full credit voucher to use toward any future Art Waves event. • Full Refund: Receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid. Payment: All workshops booked must be paid upfront via the website.
