Class Description
WAVE MAKERS: 6-10 year olds. Get ready to build, roll, and stamp your way into the Animal Kingdom! Young Artists will combine the building power of LEGO with the magic of printmaking. Using LEGO plates and dots, children will design their favourite animal textures, scales, and shapes to create custom printing blocks. After rolling colourful paints onto their designs, they will press them onto paper to reveal stunning, one-of-a-kind animal prints! This high-energy class is perfect for curious kids who love to build, experiment and get a little messy with art! 🖌️Skills taught: Relief printing, textures, ink control, geometric design. 🖼️What you will take home: A selection of LEGO creation prints, ready for framing! A paper folder to transport their prints safely. ⭐Top Tips: Please be aware that we cannot let the children take their custom-built printing plates away with them as will be re-using the LEGO for future classes! ℹ️Key Information: We provide all the materials you need - just bring your wonderful self! Complimentary refreshments are included to keep your creative energy flowing. Our sessions are led by an experienced artist and usually follow a relaxed, structured format - though we always love to see your unique creativity and self-expression shine. To help us get everything perfectly ready for you, please head in no earlier than 10 minutes before we begin. Parents can drop off their children for this session.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 10 days before: If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so up to 10 days prior to the start of the workshop. You will receive a refund minus the ticket service fee (this is non-refundable processing fee charged by Wix). Please email your request at hello@art-waves.co.uk Cancellations less than 10 days before: We are unable to offer refunds or transfers for customer cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the workshop. The only exception is if we have a waitlist and can successfully fill your space. If you cannot attend, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@art-waves.co.uk If we must cancel a workshop due to low enrolment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you via email or phone at least 48 hours before the event. In this scenario, you can choose one of the following options: • Transfer: Move your booking to a new workshop of your choice. If the new workshop costs more, you will pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund you the difference. • Credit: Receive a full credit voucher to use toward any future Art Waves event. • Full Refund: Receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid. Payment: All workshops booked must be paid upfront via the website.
